Segamat town does not have any type of public swimming pool. The golf club in Segamat has a swimming pool but the management refuse to let children in Segamat pay to use the pool. They prefer the pool constantly sits empty and not used. I did inquire if I could pay to bring my young son there once a week to teach him to swim, the response by the manager was to rudely ignore me.

I know the place, it is next to a driving school, very noisy for the golf players.

Enjoying a near town center location on land generously given up by the residents of Segamat. Sadly it only has a nine hole golf course and so the club is a haunt for amateur players dreaming of one day being up to the challenges presented on a full length golf course. If your thinking about paying for golf lessons here than do expect the training standards to be on par with a club that can only offer a nine hole course. Bauhau is only an hours drive from Segamat and you can consider checking out the international standards style golf course on offer from this high standard Korean financed & managed club. Segamat golf club have Badminton on offer but only two courts, a swimming pool which appears hardly used. Town residents in Segamat are refused permission to use the pool, even though the club could benefit by charging a fee to local town residents. No public swimming pool, children do not have anywhere to learn to swim and the use of the clubs pool is denied to them? I do wonder if there is any history in Segamat a town with several large rivers and lakes of kids drowning because they had not learned to swim? This is a mean attitude for a club management to hold towards families in Segamat and perhaps should prompt people to think first before they use the services for members only system.
